• Sep 2024: Prof. Wei attended Inauguration of PolyU Endowed Young Scholar .

• Aug 2024: Prof. Wei delivered a talk at HKEST award ceremony.

• Aug 2024: Mr. Shuwei Yue passed his PhD defense.

• Jun 2024: Prof. Wei has been elected Young Member of Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences.

• Jun 2024: Our lab in Shenzhen has completed renovation.

• May 2024: "Adaptive Display White Point under Various Ambient Conditions" by Ms Jiamin Guo and Prof Wei has been award Distinguished Paper Award at SID Display Week 2024.

• Apr 2024: Mr Hongbing Wang passed his PhD defense.

• Apr 2024: Prof. Wei was awarded Young Leadership Award by SID China. 

• Mar 2024: Prof. Wei was awarded Hong Kong Engineering Science and Engineering Award 2023. [link] 

• Mar 2024: Our team participated in "Night Photography Rendering Challenge 2024" organized by CVPR. The developed solution was ranked at 6th out of 50+ teams.

• Jan 2024: PolyU held a press conference about Prof. Wei's research.

• May 2023: Dr Wei has been promoted to Professor, with effective on July 1 2023.

• May 2023: Dr Wei attended PolyU Appreciation Dinner in Celebration of Staff's Outstanding Achievements 2023.

• Jan 2023: Dr Wei was elected to be Vice President of The International Commission on Illumination (CIE).

• Jan 2023: We hosted International Symposium on Color Imaging and Metaverse cum Launching Ceremony of Color Imaging and Metaverse Research Center on Jan 27 and Jan 28.
